From the moment of check in to check out, I had a wonderful stay at orient hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and professional and the food was delicious. Special mention must be made to the GM Mr. Chandima who was always on the scene and attentive to our needs. We were also provided with a Trek to Ella Rock accompanied by hotel staff and a packed hotel lunch which was an incredible experience I would highly recommend. Overall was a great visit and will definitely be staying here again next time I visit.

Loved everything! Room was incredible, views like nothing else, delighted to have a bed that could roll onto the balcony and a hammock for relaxation. Spa was beautiful with serene views and reasonably priced (it was cheaper than the place we went to in town!). Restaurant staff were lovely. If the sights of Ella weren't so fantastic, we would have happily spent every second in this room.

A good location for a stress-free stay in Ella, Ella waterfall view is a homestay surrounded by views of the mountain.

Everything - the amazing views, the comfy beds, the delicious homemade food, the super friendly and helpful staff, the train in the distance, the peacefulness. The property is 1.5km out of town, so you feel like you have escaped but you’re also just a 20 min walk to town. We loved it so much we extended our stay twice! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this brand new property. The family who runs it are incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was immaculately clean, and the location, though slightly outside the busy Ella town, was perfect for us – a tranquil jungle retreat just a 10-15 minute tuk-tuk ride away. Everything was perfect. This is a really new hotel, that's why there is not much comments but you can go there to relax, enjoy the amazing View (sunrise from the bed) , eat the delicious fresh breakfast. Hosts were just super nice ! Also they have tuktuk so they bring you wherever you want. Thanks for this amazing stay ! It was better than expected !

Good quality/price room, with good matress, mosquito net protection and antimosquito plug device, hot water, fridge! hair dryier and a iron. The terrace and the views were amazing, its the perfect place to relax and enjoy being in the nature. The breakfast was huge and delicious with sri lankan or western options. Ruwan and his wife were very kind and attentive and Ruwan is open to pick you up and drop you to/from downtown by his tuktuk and even available to guide you and make a tour throughout the most important Ella’s touristic spots.
