Amazing, exceptional, and very well thought out - That’s how we would describe our stay here While one has been to many (arguably) more scenic locations, however staying at this hotel has been the best experience ever. From the moment we got to the property, we were pampered thoroughly, be it the food or offering to take us to the attractions or arranging the specific vehicle we wanted, or even the smallest details in terms of how the room should be kept, table arrangements etc. Must say that Dushyanta (the GM) has put in a lot of efforts in finding the best team possible and the results are there to be seen – every person on the staff here is willing to go over and beyond their job, wanting to make sure the guests are comfortable. Special thanks to Chef Royce, the pastry chef and their entire team for serving sumptuous 6 course meals, catering to all our dietary constraints - each item served was just plain delicious; to Janaka, Chandu and others for taking care of us and to Amanda for figuring out our travel related details. We will surely be back next time we are in Sri Lanka.

Upon arrival we were greeted by name and received a cup of tea with the check in process fast and efficient. Suraj and Gaming were always available to help with anything we needed, likewise Yaso was our butler who was always on hand to provide water, towels etc to our room. The food was incredible, something you would expect of a 5 star hotel in London. Pushparaj the chef at the Westbury put together a wonderful festive 4 course Christmas dinner in the dining room. The service was excellent! We missed breakfast as we wanted to lie in one morning & the staff brought the breakfast to our room (waffles, pancakes, eggs, fruit) similarly if we wanted to take the pastries away they would box them up for us.

This property is in the middle of tea estate. Food is awesome and they cook wit care and love. Very safe for solo traveller. One of my best stays. Property staff is excellent, Manu the property manager will make sure to give you direction before you arrive. He also made sure to take me for a small trek and showed the near by places. I truly felt cared and well taken care of.

Really cute little place situated within walking distance of lovers leap waterfall and the Pedro tea factory. Owners were really friendly and helpful. The food was good too. If you’re looking for something quiet out in the tea fields this is the place for you.

this hotel is must see if you are travelling in Nuwara-Eliya. Heritage building with a great history, beautifull interiors, old photos in holls, hidden bar rooms etc... we spent couple of hours to explore the hotel. Stuff is very friendly and one of manager even made a small excursion for us while we were waiting. Welcome hot soup was what we needed cz at night is quite chilly outside. The restaurant was pretty delisious and our servant Antony made our dinner even better.

The whole place was an amazing experience and I learnt much more about the history of tea in Nuwara Eliya. The staff are exceptionally polite, very pleasant and very kind and considerate. It felt like being taken care of by family. The food was amazing and the ambience with life musician was speechless.

The location is absolutely beautiful. The rooms and the toilets were clean and comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly. The food in the restaurant was exceptionally good.
