Our stay at The Divine Villa Thalpe was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and care — Christophe, the owner, has truly created something special here. His attention to detail and passion for hospitality shine through in every corner of the villa. The house itself is absolutely stunning — a beautiful blend of modern luxury and serene tropical charm. The interior design is beautiful. Every room was meticulously designed, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the view of the lush gardens and pool felt like a dream. The staff were beyond amazing — thoughtful, professional, and always going above and beyond to make sure our stay was flawless. From the delicious meal (we took the breakfast but now wish we’d had more meals there) to the little touches throughout the day, everything was handled with grace and genuine care. If you’re looking for a luxurious, peaceful escape in Sri Lanka, The Divine Villa Thalpe is just perfect. We loved every minute and didn’t want to leave. Beautiful setting! The furniture was lovely and the decoration thoughtful. The plants and pool area were beautiful and peaceful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious as well - I loved the vegetable curry especially. Not far from galle fort and more. Wish we stayed for more nights.

A quiet, cozy place in the middle of wild nature. Great view from the room. Big beautiful outdoor pool. Clean rooms and everything you need is here. We saw monkeys on palm trees, various birds and a palm squirrel. Cats also live here. Visitors, please feed them! Very good staff, the administrator is excellent, helps in any situation. Great hotel! I will definitely come back here!

Beautiful views of the lake. Even able to take a boat ride if you wished too. Rooms were spacious and had its own pool. Very comfortable and luxurious. The staff went above and beyond for me. They surprised with an amazing birthday cake following my amazing Sri Lankan dinner which I was not expecting. This was due to me mentioning i was there as a birthday gift to myself. I felt so comfortable travelling there solo as a woman. Highly recommend this hotel. Loved the little library and peacocks on site. Even saw a crocodile pass in the lake.

Fantastic resort in the middle of the lush jungle but also close to some of the beautiful beaches of Galle. The resort and room were impeccably presented and complimented by a lovely team who were always happy to help. We really enjoyed it’s position away from the chaos and noise from the main road but still easy to get around. The grounds are so lush and green , beatiful and peaceful - you almost don’t feel like going out. There are 5-6 units in the garden but designed so that they all feel quite private. Build in colonial style but also very modern. We originally booked for 3 nights, but quickly extended to 5. Ceylon Olive is the best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. Fantastic staff, fantastic place, own tuk tuk service and such a great family who runs this place. Especially thanks to Kumudu for making our stay so pleasant. We will definetly stay here again on our next visit to Sri Lanka.
