- excellent location near the train station and 10 minutes away from the city center. - although close to the train station, the hotel has a very good sound insulation and you can’t hear a thing (this is coming from someone with high sensitivity to noise, by the way) - new / modern furniture and bathroom - very clean - friendly & smiley staff

I had a wonderful stay at this property, where the late-night access to the sauna and pool added a relaxing touch to the evening. The room was impeccably clean, and the in-room sauna functioned perfectly, providing a luxurious experience alongside the superb bubble bath in the quickly heating bathtub. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall comfort of my stay. Breakfast was a delightful affair, offering a variety of tasty and filling options to start the day right.

With its waterfront location, this hotel offers views of the old De Bilt fortress. Use of the spa facilities, fitness area and swimming pool is free of charge.

Loved the "spa-yoga-resort" vibe of the place. Loved that you could eat breakfast outside on a deck beside a river. The room were big, staff was helpful and nice.

Carlton President, on the edge of Utrecht, offers a free shuttle service during the week to De Wetering, Papendorp, Oudenrijn and Maarssen Railway Station.

Sleeping and using the spa&sona were great ways to relax. We were preoccupied that the sound of the spa was too loud as we used it during the night, but the host said she couldn't hear since the room is well insonorinated. The host was especially kind, asked if we had every we needed for the stay, then when we checked out. The neighborhood is charming. As relaxing as the room. There are beautiful parks and a grocery store at around 10 minutes by foot. We strongly recommend this place if you want to recharge your energy.

It is easy to find, nice and quiet location, very relaxing. It really feels like you are in a Spa. The owners are very sweet and the attention to detail is perfect. Breakfast gets delivered the night before, so you can enjoy waking up in your own time. Very clean, the bed is super comfortable, enough towels and there were possibilities for snacks and drinks at the property, very thoughtful in case you just don’t feel like getting out!

Fantastic stay, beautiful surroundings and amazing service. Perfect to wind down. Best part was the outside kitchen / veranda and garden.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. The location is perfect; just off the motorway in a “private estate” country park setting, complete with gates and driveway, with ample free parking and surrounded by woodland and nature. It is co-located with a small 9 hole golf course. Right from the outset everything was outstanding - the pleasant receptionist, the surprise of a freshly-baked warm chocolate cookie, the large room with efficient air-con, the very comfortable bed with feather pillows, the spacious bathroom with double sink and separate shower cubicle, the large (55?) wall-mounted flat screen TV. We also had a meal in the restaurant; it was surprisingly delicious! There was a problem with our room which was rectified immediately without any problem or stress. There were several charge points for EVs. A special mention across the board to all the staff - excellent! This was our last stop on our way home after a 3 week tour around France, stopping in 5 different hotels. This was the best of them all by a country mile. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel. A definite “10”.
