My partner and I stayed with Frank and his family in December. Frank was welcoming from the get go - offering us full snow gear, advice about the surroundings and what not. On our final day, we encountered a huge snow fall (knee height) and Frank took time out of his day to plow through the snow and get us to the airport. The accomodation and location was amazing, with perfect views of the northern lights and mountain side surroundings. The wildlife comes in and around the property for viewing and interaction. Frank has a friendly pup named Theo who came to greet us and took us on walks. The location is close to the zoo, beginner slopes and is easily accessible via Uber even in the snow season. Two weeks into our trip from Australia and this has hands down been the best experience we have had by miles, and this was mostly due to the facilities and hosts.

The apartment was home from home. Spacious, clean, comfortable with plenty of thoughtful extras. Lovely view from the spacious balcony too added to the stay. The location was away from the bustle of the centre of Anchorage but an easy walk into the down town area. The only noticeable noise was from the train which passed nearby during the day, however, it only passed occasionally and we did not feel that it was an intrusion. Very happy with our choice of accommodation. Suited our needs perfectly.
