The hotel is surrounded by beautiful hills and fields around 10 minutes from any village of note which is great for peace/quiet, excellent for star gazing - be sure to catch sunrise/sunset! The surrounding area is well kept and perfect for a little stroll around. It's a very authentic feel to the extent that female staff wear traditional clothing, everyone is so helpful and friendly - special shoutout to the excellent Ivan. There's food and drinks readily available, long hours. Spa facilities - the brave can swim in the lake, there is an indoor pool which has an outdoor part too, a very well equipped gym & sauna. The spa area is open early didn't close until 11pm. Very easy parking.

Located 250 metres from the Hochkar Ski Area, JUFA Hotel Hochkar offers a spa area with a sauna, and a steam bath, a restaurant, and a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. It's a nice hotel in the middle of nature, close to many hiking routes. Very friendly staff. Great offering of sport infrastructure. Good breakfast.

Schloss an der Eisenstrasse is a modern hotel with a historic ambience in the centre of Waidhofen an der Ybbs in Lower Austria. A lovely hotel with a good combination of character and modern. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. I also ate at the restaurant and the food was really very good and well priced.
