Easily accessible and within walking distance from the train station. The sauna was fantastic! The owner was very welcoming, and both check-in and check-out were seamless—we arrived early and left late without any issues. It truly felt like home. Highly recommend!

Beautiful & peaceful setting surrounded by vineyards & hills. Room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Bed very comfortable. Amazing views from both sun decks & pool. Wonderful ambience in the outdoor seating area in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent.

Hotel Schachner is located in the town of Maria Taferl, close to the basilica. It offers views of the Alps and the Danube River. Staff, enviroment, view, welness, cleaness everything was exceptional.

In a scenic location in the Wachau region overlooking the town of Krems, The 4-star superior Steigenberger Hotel & Spa Krems is 2 km from the centre. It offers a large spa area, and a restaurant. We came for the Christmas markets & were not disappointed! Nicely appointed room w/terrace & view towards vineyard. Peaceful area on the edge of town. Comfortable beds. Bathrobe & slippers provided. Walking distance (partly downhill) into Krems Old Town. Great location for also touring, for example, the Gottweig Monastery, Durnstein & Melk. Breakfast was very plentiful w/choice of eggs to order. Good coffee at breakfast. Parking just in front of the hotel, though filled up quickly by evening (there is a paid garage). Overall, a fantastic & relaxing stay!

Really great hotel in a cute little village. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The pool was clean and in a very pretty room. I would definitely stay here again.

This family-run 4-star hotel lies hidden between the vineyards of the Wachau, about 900 metres west of the historic town of Dürnstein. The hotel is located on the Danube shore, with a spectacular view over surrounding hills and Danube from upper rooms, close to city, yet in a very quiet location. The room is spacios and very clean, the restaurant is offering quality food , breakfast is very good. Parking place at the hotel ground level is a plus. And the night sky view is magnificent (due to outside town hotel location)

This hotel offers a spectacular expansive most amazing panorama of the Danube and miles around it. Fantastic. Nice facilities, elevators, delicious big buffet breakfast. The dinners we had in the restaurant were great, nice service.
