Restaurant & cuisine – The dining room delivered outstanding food, excellent table service, and mountain views that made every meal memorable. Hospitality – Staff throughout the hotel—from check‑in to housekeeping—exceeded every expectation. Breakfast experience – A wide and tasty buffet, prompt service, with hot dishes prepared on request made for an energizing start to each day. Ideal for short stopovers – I originally planned this as a two‑night rest to avoid a long drive after a flight. While I didn’t have time for the spa, its generally praised 1,000 m² wellness area shows just how full a longer stay could be. Impeccable cleanliness – I hold very high standards for hygiene; the room and public areas surpassed them entirely.

I like Bad Reichenhall, It is a very cozy and picturesque place. Even if there weren't so many tourists oriented points around, I'd be getting pleasure just walking through this town. I like the Avalon hotel: its kind stuff, its cozy cafe on the ground floor, its warm atmosphere, and many, many other small things that leave a very pleasant impression. I'd especially express my thanks for disconnecting the rain detector from the marquis management system. This year, I had a chance to have a cigarette looking at the beautiful mountain view sitting on the balcony while it was raining..

Set within Berchtesgaden National Park, at the foot of Watzmann Mountain, Berghotel Rehlegg offers traditional Bavarian accommodation. Everything is awesome. Good facility and restaurant, decent breakfast and dinner a la carte selections, super friendly staff, great location for hiking from Ramsau to Hintersee. Strongly recommended.
