The guest house boasts a variety of wellness options, including a sauna, spa facilities and yoga classes. You can play billiards and darts at the guest house, and the area is popular for cycling and hiking. There is a shared lounge at this property and guests can go walking tours nearby. If you are fortunate enough to stay at Le Domaine du Castellas, you won’t regret it. The property is secluded, and once you arrive, you may not feel the need to do much touring, but that is precisely why it deserves a place in your holiday. This is not just accommodation, it is one of life’s special experiences that will stay with you for many years. The journey along the long, narrow road is soon forgotten when the property opens up before you. The views, tranquillity, beautifully appointed rooms, and exceptional service make it all worthwhile. We left already knowing we would return, something that rarely happens. The staff play a huge part in the magic here. From the talented chef to the gardening team, front of house, and the meticulous Elsa Picaud Dor, who we believe is the reason the property is so immaculate, every detail is cared for with dedication. We often come across wonderful properties with potential, but it is rare to find somewhere as special as this. If you are in the area, I would also suggest staying at Domaine Les Martins, closer to Gordes, which makes a perfect combination. David and Régis are outstanding hosts, and if you are lucky enough to find a room, you must experience their level of service. Together, these two properties offer an experience every bit as good as Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, but with far more local charm.

This boutique hotel is set amidst lavender fields in the Luberon region, 3 km from the centre of Roussillon. It was renovated in 2025 and features a spa where you can enjoy a hammam and whirlpool. There is also an outdoor swimming pool which is heated from mid-April to mid-October. The property is located 6 km from Gordes. Super friendly couple that runs the hotel! We had a lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious, rooms very clean and nice and also the pool was newly renovated and very clean and relaxing. We had a wonderful stay!

Situated in a former convent in Mane, built in 1613, Le Couvent des Minimes, un Hôtel & Spa L'Occitane en Provence RELAIS & CHATEAUX has a facade and a terraced garden with botanical plants.

It offers a free out-door pool with a sun terrace. The hotel features a Spa and a wellness centre. Also features a lounge and a library. The hotel is a wonderful conversion of the ancient convent. It is clear that mountains of money, but also tons of taste, were expended in achieving it. The result is sublime: like living in a beautiful château, except comfortable. As for the spa, it is superb, the best we’ve seen (and we’ve seen a few). It would impress a Roman emperor (if there were more slaves). We didn’t benefit from the huge outdoor pool or the terraces, since we were there in winter, but they would be a delight in warm weather. Someone has done a terrific job in assembling and training a rather young staff of charming and intelligent people. From the parking attendants to the receptionists, and from the waiters and waitresses to the exceptional sommelière (Ms. Pauline), there wasn't a one that we wouldn’t happily adopt and take home with us. The buffet breakfast: simply the best (really). The hotel has its own full-time boulanger, as well as a pastry chef. Okay, full disclosure: the coffee could be better. There is (of course) a gourmet restaurant (we can all imagine what that’s like), as well as a “bistro" on the premises. (Fortunately, since the local village doesn’t offer much at all.) The bistro serves mainly fanciful haute cuisine; we would have preferred that it be more authentically bistro-like, with some classic bistro-type food (steaks, daubes, foie gras, magret, confit de canard…yes, maybe even french fries!). It goes to show: even paradise can stand to be tweaked a bit.

Most of the spacious rooms and suites feature private bathrooms with a bathtub, and some also include a separate shower. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels is provided.

Buffet breakfast is available every morning. The hotel's restaurants, La Table de La Bastide and Le Clover, both feature Provençal cuisine made with Mediterranean products served with regional wines. More traditional meals can also be enjoyed in the vaulted dining room or on the shaded terrace with its view of the valley. Clover Gordes, the restaurant by Chef Jean-François Piège also offer a unique grill experience. The service and generosity of the hotel were exceptional — multiple staff knew my name and room number off by heart and they were always extremely courteous and helpful. We were gifted many items to use and keep, including pyjamas, eye masks, a hat, and tote bag, even though we were only staying for one night. The toiletries were extremely high quality and the minibar was completely free and refillable. We were gifted a gorgeous fan and a beautiful embossed card for turndown service (as a designer, I can see how much time, care, and resources they've put into all these items), and when we departed, we received a customised luggage tag each, water, laduree mararons, stickers, and even wet wipes for the trip home. I had told the hotel we were celebrating my mum's birthday, and they had prepared a small cake for her. We booked dinner at the main restaurant, La Table de la Bastide, and even though we didn't notify them about the birthday, they knew and prepared a candle on a dessert for her. We've stayed at many luxury hotels before, but nowhere else have we been able to experience this kind of attention to detail. The food we had at La Table was fantastic. The staff do a wonderful job of separating children from the adult crowd (including having multiple pools for this reason). The main pool is beautiful, the towels powder-soft and cushiony. There was a photographer on site who took photos of guests. I could not recommend Airelles La Bastide, and the other hotels under the Airelles brand, more.
