I had an amazing stay at Rock Mill Retreat in the Peak District. The attention to detail was spot on—luxurious British Wool bedding, a fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials, including a coffee machine, and underfloor heating in the bathroom, which was a nice touch. The red light therapy room was a real bonus and really helped with my knee. We also made great use of the BBQ downstairs, grilling some incredible local farm steaks.

Five Acres is a fantastic house with everything you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable. The sauna and hot tub were a personal favourite. We also loved the addition of fresh tulips in the conservatory! It was perfect for our friend's hen party and every detail was thought of. Nancy and Howard replied to messages really quickly if we had any queries, and Howard met us on arrival to show us round. The sofas and beds were incredibly comfortable, and the table extended to fit all 17 of us round. Luckily, we had perfect sunny weather so spent a lot of time outside. There was a few little sun traps to enjoy. Overall a really lovely, clean property and can't recommend enough.

Glorious building kept in almost immaculate condition. All rooms and decor throughout including facilities were fantastic.

Renovated in 2023, this historic hotel lies within 300 acres of private parkland, a 10-minute drive from Derby. It has a spa,two 18-hole golf courses, an indoor pool, and a fitness area. Very welcoming staff who went out of the way to make our stay very comfortable . Excellent breakfast, We stayed for one evening meal only and it was excellent. The gardens are beautiful. We are not golfers, but the golfing fraternity were very pleasant indeed. The location was very good for us as we have family living nearby too.
