Wow what can I say, this beautiful property was the most perfect getaway for myself and my friend for a 3 night stay for some R&R. It’s incredibly clean, modern and beautiful with so much space, cosy lounge, huge comfortable beds and lovely high ceilings. There is everything you would need and more across the kitchen, and the bathroom is very lovely with a big bath and great shower. We made use of the gym and swimming pool and gorgeous library area - what a great perk to the stay, all really clean and perfectly kept. The location was great, local walks and we had day trips to Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge, everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We ate at The Lion in West Pennard (15 minute drive) and the food (roast dinner) was probably one of the best we’d ever had with the nicest staff, so friendly and accommodating. The host for the property, Sam, was so helpful, really caring and attentive to all my (many) questions and nothing was too small for her to help with. Hands down one of the best hosts I’ve dealt with over the years of long weekends away. 10/10 with everything, it really couldn’t have been any better! Well kept grounds, attractive landscaping and lots of pretty flowers. Everyone friendly. Very good, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Excellent fishing for our son Cripps is located a few miles from town but it had a full size fridge freezer so before we arrived we stopped in the town and stocked up for the week. Easy access to amenities. Several supermarkets. We visited Wookey Hole, Clarkes Village Designer Outlet and Burnham on Sea. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a very relaxing break with fishing. Perfect for my family.

Bristol Airport is 50 km away. Although I didn’t have a hot tub at the property where I was staying, it did have possibly the biggest bath I have ever used which was great to unwind and relax in during the evenings. The on site spa was also a delight, having spent one evening there.

ALL staff were lovely and friendly. The living area was a good size. The location was great with good views. It was clean.

The hotel provides an indoor pool, sauna and a concierge service. A very convenient stay for us whilst visiting relatives . We felt very relaxed and had excellent breakfasts, the spa facilities are super. We would stay again, thank you for giving us lighter duvets as requested, it made all the difference to our comfort.
