Surrounded by private parkland on the shores of the Atlantic, Renvyle House features a golf course, swimming pool and award-winning restaurant. With cosy turf fires, there is also free parking and free Wi-Fi. My Mam and I came for a night for my Birthday and we had a wonderful time. The outdoor pool and hot tub was amazing. Dinner was exceptional. We spent a cosy night int he bar with an open fire and slept so very well. Then started our next day with a delicious breakfast. I could not fault the place in the slightest.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Screebe House offers accommodation in Rosmuck, 36 km from Galway. The hotel has a barbecue and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Screebe House is right on the water in a very quiet remote area. It was so very peaceful. The dinner was absolutely superb in every way from presentation to delectable taste. The breakfast was without a doubt unforgettable in that the croissant just melted in your mouth, and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. The staff was also so accommodating, personal touches!

Wild Atlantic Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Leenaun. Featuring a bar, the property is located within 27 km of Kylemore Abbey. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk as well as free WiFi.

The breakfast offers buffet, continental or Full English/Irish options. The room and entire hostel was nice and clean. The kitchen is great - there is a hob, oven, microwave, pots/pans, cutlery, etc. available for use. Lots of activities for kids from 8+. Nice fire tracks to cycle/walk on. And the kids loved the old BMX track. It is located in the most beautiful setting. And the food in the hotel bar and restaurant is fantastic!

On the site of the former Clifden Railway Station, Clifden Station House offers well-appointed bedrooms and self-catering apartments. There is a pool and Connemara National Park is a 15-minute drive.

Indulge in one of the many beauty treatments at the Renew Spa, unwind in the Swedish steam room or relax in the hot tub. There is also a gym and stunning coastal walks are just 3 miles away. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was great, beds were comfortable, food and drink - delicious. Some renovation in progress, but we were aware of that.

Delphi Resort Hotel & Spa offers 4-star hotel accommodation, with a spa, an adventure centre and two restaurants. There is free WiFi and some of the sophisticated bedrooms feature a balcony, with beautiful views.

Recreational facilities include a steam room, sauna, feature showers, a relaxation area and a 12-jet Jacuzzi with mountain views. Excellent hotel - very comfortable bedroom with bunkbed for the children. The dining food was delicious and they catered for our food allergies. The spa area was very well run and relaxing. We loved the activities on offer in the adventure centre too. The price was excellent. There was a nice reading room too to relax in. It really is in the middle of nowhere so you get a sense of wilderness. It is still not too far from Westport or Kylemore abbey - 30 mins and an hour drive.
