It cannot be reached by car, you need to park in a parking provided by hotel and there is a car to take you to the hotel, the service was wonderful and quick. The restaurant is great and the whole experience in Matera was wonderful because of the hotel location, services and staff.

The room was quite big and had all the amenities. The unique old-style swimming pool is the best we have seen in a hotel. Breakfast was great, unique, and filling. All the complimentary experiences were designed with a lot of thought and detail.
