Andrea is a very hospitable and friendly host, we had excellent communication before and during our stay in Il Porto. He is there every day and ready to help with everything. The apartment is large and cozy - a large fully equipped kitchen, 2 large bedrooms, 2 huge bathrooms (one with a bathtub), one small bedroom for one kid/adult (without window), and a living room with kamin. High ceilings. Good mattresses, pillows, linen. A lot of spare blankets/pillows in closets. A lot of different glasses, mugs, dishes, etc. All is clean and ready to use. Strengh WiFi signal. Private parking is located in the courtyard, actually, in the garden between olives and plum trees. (the entry is a bit tight, and can be difficult for very large cars and/or inexperienced drivers) A pool with sun beds in front of the building (unfortunately, was not actual for us at the end of September). A gazebo with a table and chairs in the garden. Grill. There were also guests in other apartments, but we did not hear them. So we really enjoyed our stay in Il Porto, Andrea, thank you a lot.

Locanda Poggioleone ligt in Pozzuolo, op 10 minuten rijden van Castiglione del Lago en het meer van Trasimeno. Het wordt omgeven door de natuur en biedt een tuin en een buitenzwembad met een hot tub. The property was a dream! We had the best room in hotel with the best view! It was better that i thought. The garden and the pool were amazing. The staff were so nice and so friendly, we were very pleased with them. The property was also really close to places that we really like to see. The food- I mean, I have no words. Amazing!

Relais Villa Monte Solare Wellness & SPA is een luxe 4-sterrenhotel met prachtige tuinen en een panoramische spa met uitzicht op de heuvels. We are already missing this lovely well acquainted villa which is surrounded by complete nature. It is truly a unique and versatile place where rest, relaxation, inspiration and enjoyment are central. A hidden gem which is an ideal place for a luxurious stay out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was very easy to get along to different places along Umbria and nearby towns in Tuscany as well. We really enjoyed the SPA facilities. Great breakfast and dinner at their very own restaurant. Last but not least, the staff are really friendly, helpful and hospitable especially Alessio, Giorgia and Chiara ♥️ Thank you for making it a memorable experience. Arrivederci!

Agriturismo Verbena in Castiglione del Lago biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de tuin, gratis fietsen, een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras en een tennisbaan. This is by far the most exceptional hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were lovely, spacious and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and beautiful. The best thing about it however was the host, who was absolutely lovely and treated our children like her own. This is a great property for families because there is so much for kids to do.

Agriturismo Annibale bevindt zich in Tuoro sul Trasimeno, op 39 km van Perugia Cathedral. Uitzicht was fantastisch, de mensen waren enorm behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Verblijf was tip top in orde. Er was meteen een heel vriendelijk ontvangst waar je je oprecht welkom voelde. Ik kan niet genoeg benadrukken hoe lief en vriendelijk het gezin is waar je terecht komt.

Le Terre Di Isa is gelegen in Magione in de regio Umbrië, op 25 km van Perugia Cathedral en biedt gratis WiFi, een speeltuin, een gedeelde lounge en gratis privéparkeren. Heerlijke omgeving, super rustig na de hectiek in de steden van Italië, echt tot rust gekomen, super aardige en vriendelijk personeel. Zwembad! Wow fantastisch. Ze maken bij het ontbijt verse eitjes voor je. De kamer ‘Cupido’ was geweldig. We hebben genoten.

Hotel Kursaal ligt aan de oevers van het meer van Trasimeno, te midden van uitgestrekte tuinen. Het biedt gratis WiFi en kamers met airconditioning en satelliet-tv. Relaxing, beautiful location on Lake Trasimeno. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake. The room was sparkling clean with a comfortable bed . The bathroom is a little dated but spacious and clean with plenty of hot water for a shower. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We had dinner there most nights and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The staff is probably the best asset of this resort. Everyone is so pleasant and extremely helpful. We didn’t realize that the campground was a part of the hotel property. But actually,that just added to the appeal . And since we were traveling for 6 weeks having access to a washer and dryer was so convenient. We did walk into the center of the town of Passignano a few times during the day, but I wouldn’t do it at night because you are walking on a very busy road. Access to a car is definitely a plus to explore the beautiful area. Upon writing this review we’ve been to two other locations, and we keep wishing we were just back on the lake !

Country House Podere Lacaioli ligt in Castiglione del Lago, op 42 km van Perugia Cathedral en 42 km van San Severo-kapel in Perugia. It was one of our best vacations in recent years. Country House Podere Lacaioli is a peaceful house with a restaurant in central Italy and is a great base for trips to Siena, Assisi, Florence, or Rome. It is run by a very helpful and friendly elderly couple, it is quiet and peaceful, 5 minutes from shops, bars, restaurants, and the old town. A great place, wonderful people, you can cook or barbecue yourself, or use the restaurant in the resort or one of the many nearby. It was a great stay with excellent food, wine, and trips to nearby towns and attractions, after which we could relax in this wonderful place. It's not modern, and the internet doesn't always work everywhere, but that's really not the most important thing during a vacation where you want to get away from work, everyday life, and relax, sunbathe, or swim in the pool. We were truly delighted.
