Was able to leave luggage before check in so we could explore town. Extremely clean room with modern washroom. Breakfast extremely varied with so much to choose from. Liked staying here above Taormina as it was a cute quiet village. Many shops and restaurants to enjoy. Bus from Taormina was only 1.65 each way. It took about 10 min to get to Taormina. You can buy tickets from bus driver or tourist info shop. You can see bus stop from hotel. You can also walk to Taormina on a rugged path which takes about 20 minutes to arrive in town. Path is off highway which keeps you safe from traffic.

The hotel is in the middle of the center in Taormina either a great panoramic view over the ocean. We have been in Taormina many times but this hotel was the best. We recommend a room with an ocean view. Staff was great and small things like guided tour around Taormina and cannoli making by Msria was fantastic. Er are looking forward coming back ❤️

Mazzarò Sea Palace's wellness centre provides a wide range of massages and spa treatments and has Turkish baths. Fantastic! A really beautiful place.

Guests can also relax on the nearby private beach, using the free beach shuttle service. First of all, the staff: they're incredible. Our stay was a honeymoon stay and they exceeded our expectations on all levels--there when you needed them and not when you didn't. We were able to enjoy the amazing Dior spa for a treatment which was one of the best we've ever had and the overall classic Sicilian vibe of the property/grounds is hard to match. Yes, the ultra-expensive Four Seasons down the street is also an incredible (and famous property) but for the value, charm, and equally grand history the Belmond Grand Timeo really can't be beat.
