I have stayed here several times. It is very expensive so it makes a lovely treat. Personally I like that it is all „auf Deutsch“. I like to experience a place from that country‘s perspective, plus I can work on my German!

Landgasthof Eischen ligt aan de voet van de bergketen Säntis en de berg Kronberg. Beautiful property with a gorgeous spacious room. The staff was very friendly (even with a little language barrier); they were super helpful and kind.

Familien & Sporthotel Turna Malbun ligt op 1600 meter boven zeeniveau, aan de rand van het centrum van Malbun, naast de skilift Sareis. I definitely need to highlight the hotel restaurant. In my opinion, this one is the best in Malbun, however rather expensive. I appreciate an option with connected family rooms and bunk bed. We also saw sheeps from the window! My kids were charmed and really loved it.

I was mainly looking for a place to stay for one night, and I chose this one because it was conveniently located and had its own parking space. So I wasn't expecting much, but it quickly became clear that Hotel Frohe Aussicht was an excellent choice. The room was basic, with a private balcony and bathroom. The hotel had an excellent restaurant. The staff were nice and professional. The views from the balcony were amazing. I could have spent more nights here. I definitely recommend it.
