This is the best hotel to stay for a vacation. The staff are really kind and helpful. They are always ready to help us. We received the amazing service from the hotel. Very nice pool. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Everything was same as the pictures. Breakfast and dinner was so good. Specially dinner. They prepared it accordingly to our wish. The person who talked with me was so nice, so kind. He s name is Insaf. He is a great guy. He made my trip so easy. I really appreciate his effort. Other than that remaining staff are so kind. Villa River View is in an excellent location and gorgeous view of the river which makes it a peaceful retreat . The home is very welcoming and kept in pristine condition by Viraj and his lovely family. I would highly recommend staying at Villa River View as I had great advice on the local area and what to see in this beautiful part of Sri Lanka which I would have not found out as a solo traveller .

Probably the most friendly and helpful staff on my entire trip to srilanka. If you are in the area this place is a must stay ! And in the morning an incredible breakfast with Dahl, string hoppers, crepes, fresh eggs , fresh fruit and really good coffee. Great place to stay 👌🏼 ❤️

The property was very beautiful and we could just walk up to the beach anytime. The reception was super friendly and handled everything with efficiency. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The interior was very pretty. The pool was lovely. We had the dinner buffet. The restaurent staff was very welcoming. Two of my friends had dinner from the Al-carte menu and they were given a complimentary dessert because the rest of us were having buffet. The waiters were very attentive and provided us everything we required. Overall, we had a lovely stay because the staff was very attentive and acted swiftly whenever we needed something.

Straight on the beach, in very isolated, calm area between the sea and the river, that makes it quite special for Sri Lanka. The hotel does not have many rooms (and all rooms are facing the sea) and for almost one week we were the only tourists. We had full attention from the hotel staff, every meal was cooked specifically for us, at the time when we wanted and how we requested. The seafood was great! The room itself was big (we had triple room), clean, nice shower, great balcony with a view. Sometimes when electricity was down as it is still usual thing in Sri Lanka, hotel staff had to turn on generators, basically just for us - so we have not had any inconveniences because of that. I'd say the service was exclusive and really great. And given the price - it is hard to wish anything more.
