We took “making and tasting tea tour”, it was incredible experience to collect the tea and see in my own eye what I saw in National geographic. Vegetarian and halal options can also be requested. Everything about this hotel was amazing, the views are breathtaking taking. The staff are so welcoming and kind, they really care for the guests. Rooms are a great size and clean. There are a lot of bugs but expected as it is in the jungle. The food was absolutely delicious if you want authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The pool is perfect. There is not much to do and it is far away from everything, but absolutely perfect if you just want to relax, which is exactly what I needed.

It's 30 min away from Kandy but the peace, the nature, it's very much appreciated. And it's easy to request a tuk tuk to take you to the city.

We arrived in Kandy after a long drive from Dambulla (3 hours). We were greeted with a welcome juice and told that our room was upgraded. Wow! We were given the most beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the countryside and the river. It was breathtaking. We settled in and enjoyed the infinity pool, and had dinner. They offer a fabulous dinner meal (Western or Sri Lankan). We stayed two nights and could have stayed longer. If you need to go into town, they will call transport for you since the hotel is on top of a windy hill overlooking the valley. We had the staff organize a day trip for us to the tea plantation and the Kandy Spice Walk. Highly recommend both. This is the place to stay while in Kandy - will not disappoint.

The restaurant deserves a five-star rating of its own. The food was consistently outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
