One of the best experiences I had in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan are in general very warm and caring people, but these guys were exceptional. I had some problems with my bike on the way up, they picked me up and helped me to get it fixed. The contact was very easy and reliable over WhatsApp. Yes, the place is away from everything, but that’s what you‘re looking for if you go there and they make the access easy for you. They either send you the location to get there or pick you up and drive you safely with their jeep for the last part. Magic place, the cabin was simple but very clean, the perfect balance between being in nature and having a comfortable bed and good sanitaries. They offer very good breakfast, lunch and dinner and organise different tours to the rain forest (with transport). Thank you again for your help and for making my stay so special, I’d always come again!

Villa Hillcrest está en Weligama, a 3 km de Playa de Weligama, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. We absolutely loved our stay here, was one of the most special spots in our whole time in Sri Lanka. The location was so peaceful, looking over the palm forrest with monkeys and other animals around. The staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful- facilitating motorbike hire and tuk tuks for us. The room was incredible, nestled in the jungle with plenty of space and great facilities. Everything felt clean and comfortable. Great air conditioning and the pool was amazing. Wish we could have stayed here longer

Lavender mirissa, que tiene jardín, restaurante y vistas al mar, está en Mirissa, a 5 min a pie de Playa de Thalaramba. 1. The location is very nice, right across the street you find a passage to the beach, after a few minutes walking you are at the turtle beach and parrot rock. Next to it is Mirissa beach. On the other side, 5 min walk to the coconut beach where is perfect view of sunset. Also worth mentioning, right next door there is a shop for water. And opposite there is a fruit bar, everyday we grab a cool coconut before going back to the room. 2. The room is very spacious! Plenty of space to store our luggage and stuff. Nice balcony also. The pillow is soooo comfortable. Everything else was new and in good condition. Room was very clean as well. We were provided also shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. 3. The hosts are so nice and kind! They always smile and have been very helpful! 4. The garden also has place to hang and dry tithe clothes.

After staying at many small Sri Lankan independent hotel / guest houses, from the very north to the south this is undoubtedly the best. One of 2 reviews from me as most other being average: This place is perfectly run, perfectly maintained, great pool and great breakfasts! The evening restaurant offers a mix of Italian and Sri Lankan dishes and after a few weeks traveling nothing beats a homemade Lasagna with a glass of Red! The Beach at 2 mins away is also nr perfect. Even with the rough seas experienced on this coast there is a northern corner that is calm enough to enjoy a good swim. Well done team and Gaby, you run a great establishment. I hope to return with many friends. T

Serene Villa Hiriketiya tiene vistas al jardín y está en Hiriketiya. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de habitaciones, cafetería, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. This hotel exceeded my expectations on all fronts. The staff was super friendly, the hotel premises were so beautiful and lush, the pool area is also super lovely and calm, and the breakfast was delicious! I just loved the ambiance of the place and how it was so green... the view from the room's balcony overlooking the jungle was also amazing. The location is great, as it is a short walk to the main Hiriketiya Beach (although it should be noted that it is downhill to get there and uphill to come back), but you really don't realize once you are inside the premises how close to the road you are as it is so calm. I also really liked the fact that the room we stayed in had a kitchenette and a dining table, because even though we didn't use the kitchenette this time, we made use of the dining table by ordering from some neighboring restaurants who delivered the food right to our door. Lastly, we went with two kids, and I really enjoyed the fact that many of the other guests staying at the hotel were also families with kids.

Nature Rex Hostel se encuentra en Weligama, a 17 min a pie de Playa de Abimanagama, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. What a perfect place for connecting with nature! You can feel like in the jungle when listening to the morning birds! The owners are super nice and helpful. The WiFi was super strong for work. Very close to the beach where you can surf or just relax. And a shower.. you can look up the sky when showering! Highly recommended!

Plantation Surf Inn & Restaurant - Midigama se encuentra en Midigama East, a 3 min a pie de Playa de Dammala, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. El dueño es súper amable y ha hecho que nuestra estancia sea perfecta. Nos ha ayudado con todo lo que necesitábamos. El sitio está súper limpio, y es todo muy cómodo cerca de todos los spots de Midigama.
