We had a great stay at Green view safari resort. We were welcomed with a drink and early check in. The bungalow was perfect for our needs and very clean and tidy with good Air- con. The lovely couple who own the place were so welcoming. We had a superb home cooked evening meal with choice of 4 curries. Good mini bar choice also. They arranged a brilliant safari for us which was great value and with a really knowledgeable driver. We highly recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay.

The hoppers and chicken were beyond compare; I highly recommend asking for dinner—the flavors were divine, and the prices surprisingly reasonable. The room exceeded my expectations, the most comfortable I've had in my travels around Sri Lanka. Fast Wi-Fi, a spacious balcony with a view of the garden and birds, and a thoughtful room upgrade – it was perfect. To top it off, a warm welcome with juice and a very tasty cake made my arrival memorable. In short, this place is a gem, and I highly recommend it. A continental, Full English/Irish or Asian breakfast is available at the property. We arrived in the evening at this corner of paradise. We had a huge room, and there were only two of us. Even though they asked us if we wanted dinner during the afternoon, and we said no, when we arrived, we asked if we could eat, and they served us a wonderful dinner. The food was plentiful and truly excellent. The place is truly beautiful, surrounded by nature. The family who hosted us was very helpful. If we were to return to this area, we would definitely stay here again.

The owners are super friendly. My room was large with a good bed and good AC. The restaurant out by the street looks unassuming, but DO eat there...these guys cook beautifully. I had a rice/curry lunch that was just lovely.

Breakfast was waiting for us as we came back from early morning safari and it was delicious.

Extra facilities include a 24-hour front desk, meeting rooms, a tour desk and ironing service. We stayed at Chill House Safari resort and also did the safari with our host, Hashan. Our room and bathroom were clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location was peaceful and surrounded by trees and wildlife while still close by the main road. We decided to have one meal at the accommodation and Hashan went out to find all the specific ingredients to make polos, which we really wanted to try. It was delicious!😋His wife and son were also very nice and always around. Our safari tour with the family went great too! It’s totally worth it. We saw quite a lot of elephants and many other animals in the park. Hashan really knows his way around well and is great at spotting anyone hiding in the bushes or trees. He also answered all of our questions about the different species. Overall, we recommend the whole experience offered at Chill House Safari Resort!❣️
