The outdoor toilet was by itself a charming experience of the nature . The hoppers and chicken were beyond compare; I highly recommend asking for dinner—the flavors were divine, and the prices surprisingly reasonable. The room exceeded my expectations, the most comfortable I've had in my travels around Sri Lanka. Fast Wi-Fi, a spacious balcony with a view of the garden and birds, and a thoughtful room upgrade – it was perfect. To top it off, a warm welcome with juice and a very tasty cake made my arrival memorable. In short, this place is a gem, and I highly recommend it. I recently stayed at Green Paradise Cottage hotel in Udawalawe for a safari trip, and I must say, the experience was magical. The ambience truly made me feel like part of a family, enhancing my overall stay. I highly recommend their dinner, as the host prepared the most delicious food I’ve ever had in Sri Lanka. Everything was impeccably clean, which added to my comfort. Additionally, the host was incredibly helpful, assisting me from A to Z in planning the safari. The pricing for the safari was very convenient compared to other options. Overall, this hotel offered a memorable experience that I highly recommend!

The owners are super friendly. My room was large with a good bed and good AC. The restaurant out by the street looks unassuming, but DO eat there...these guys cook beautifully. I had a rice/curry lunch that was just lovely.
