Wow - what a wonderful place for a relaxing stay. The hosts were charming and helpful. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations - spacious and comfortable with quality furnishings and even a separate kitchen and terrace we would love to have used if warmer. The river was only 200m away for relaxing walks, and a 24hr self-serve supermarket completed the rural escape convenience! Truly one of the best stays we have had - we could not rate it highly enough!

The spa was absolutely amazing, it brought us so much relaxation in a truly idyllic setting. The interior is warm, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The surrounding landscapes are breathtaking and added to the serenity of the stay. Most of all, Mikael was a wonderful host so kind, attentive, and welcoming. Thank you for this magical escape.😊❤️

Situated next to Sandefjord Harbour, this hotel offers free WiFi and free swimming pool access. Scandic Park Sandefjord is 10 minutes' walk from Sandefjord Train Station. Torp Airport is 7 km away. This is a surprisingly good Scandic hotel. The breakfast is excellent, the rooms are spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. Perfect location in case you need to catch the ferry to Strömstad the next morning.

Thank you so much for a wonderful week! The place is exactly as described, recommended. Short distance to shops and public transport. Nice professional host who deserves all credit, he really tries to help the guests! Fantastic massage chair that even has a heating function and a view of the pool area. Lovely plants and palm trees that create a pleasant atmosphere. Sauna that guests can use whenever it suits them, and bathe in the snow afterwards! The host also offers to fire it up if he is home. Otherwise, he was available in his part of the hotel, if needed. Very nice living room with large aquarium and TV with background lighting. Pleasant international guests. The very pleasant host also makes sure that it is clean and tidy and that the guests have a good time. Lovely organic eggs from the hens in the garden. Very good coffee and tea. Lovely fluffy cat, Pepsik, who was very cuddly and who was mostly outside all day, but came by to say hello and get some cuddles. Delicious aroma from various herbs and essential oils. This is a place where you find peace of mind. Would love to come again with the family!

Offering affordable tickets to an indoor water park and spa/wellness centre, Hotell Fritidsparken is located in Skien Leisure Park, 3 km from central Skien. It was wonderful for traveling with kids, lots of little parks around and very comfortable.

This was our first night when we arrived in Norway during our 2000km road trip. Having never driven on the right side of the road and our late arrival the hotel was extremely welcoming. The location is stunning and well worth the drive. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. the hotel is set in its own grounds that are extremely well kept with lovely walks. Breakfast was fantastic. When we arrived it was quite late on however the waitress was extremely helpful, serving us up some really good cocktails and a charcuterie board at 9/9:30 pm and it was just what we needed after a long day of travelling. Unfortunately we missed dinner due to hire car issues which I would have loved to of tried judging by the charcuterie board and breakfast. The spa was exceptional! every bit of it from the peacefulness to the decor and cleanliness and probably the best spa we have ever visited. On checking out the staff were very helpful as we had some questions about tolls and ferries. We were also given some little cakes to take away. Would highly recommend a stay here for relaxation and we will probably return for a long weekend from Scotland at some point in the near future.

Eventho we booked quite late (before 21:00) , we got very quick booking confirmation and due to it was really bad weather and we were with motorbikes, then he let us stay there til 14:00 next day, so the weather went better and stayed dry. I would defently come back here if I need to. :)
