We were upgraded to a suite so the room was spacious and excellent. The hotel design is nice and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. I had one of the best pina coladas in life :) Regarding the service, young people were working and overall we were impressed from everything :) And it is 20min walking from the center

However, the hospitality and helpfulness of our hosts, the beautiful and thoughtful decor of this accomodation, the perfect blend of traditional and modern of each single room are hard to beat, as well as the lovely and wonderful breakfast. As a bonus, John recommended the perfect drinks for dinner.

This pace is beautiful. It is very peaceful, the staff are attentive. The beds were super comfortable. There is everything in the kitchen you need to create a lovely meal. This was very welcome after weeks of travelling I enjoyed being able to prepare delicious food for my family.

Quinta dos Padres Santos provides elegant rooms and accommodations in refurbished old watermills in Eira Queimada, Tarouca, 11 km from Lamego. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Managed all our expectations. Plan to go back there again in the future especially during the cherry fruit season.
