The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Beautiful bungalows with a huge garden directly in front of the beach. All the bungalows have a big glass front where you can see the garden and at some locations the beach. Incredibly nice staff - try to help and accommodate wherever they can. Could change the room without problems as I needed AC to be able to sleep (March can be incredibly hot and humid). Even came back to the hotel after diving on the other side of the island. Everything seems a bit rustic as first but you will definitely fall in love with it. There is a really really nice gift shop with handicrafts on site - really nice woman from the village, definitely one to support. The locations to the beach is super close and to the left there are two more hotels you can go for dinner or a drink. People all know each other on Mafia and help you with everything! :) Breakfast is great!

Thank you Mussa, Arza and Yazer (sorry for misspelling) for a perfect relaxing week and taking care of us with great hospitality. We felt like friends not like guests. Our hut was always clean and had electricity and hot water at any time. It is 10 steps to the beach. Fan and moskito net are provided. Every night a very romatnic atmosphere with bonfire on the beach. Fresh coconuts are served as well as cocktails and soft drinks for very fair prices! The best at last: Take every chance to eat dinner or lunch here, the food is outstanding and very fair prices, you get fresh fish from the daily fish market well prepared. Also, plan the whale shark and other excursions directly with Mussa, he will organize a wonderful experience, also with grilled lunch, Thank you for everything, we will keep this week in a beautiful memory and wish you all the best.

For guests with children, AfroWhaleSharkSafari & AfroBeachBungalows features an indoor play area and a children's playground. Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the accommodation. The location itself is very nice, staff and owners are very friendly, the whaleshark tour was good (the weather was bad and we didn't see whalesharks but they really tried their best).

Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. I absolutely loved my stay at Basecamp and can’t wait to return. The hotel is beautiful and the service of the staff exceptional. They can’t do enough to make guests feel comfortable and accommodated for. The rooms are stunning, overlooking the beach and the pool and restaurant areas are a great place to relax. For divers there’s a dive shop within a minute’s walk and for non divers alternative excursions from the hotel. A wonderful place to stay for some quiet time on a white sand beach.
