This latest contemporary hotel offers rooms overlooking the peaceful city of Colonia del Sacramento. Its complete leisure facilities include an outdoor pool, a wellness spa and free Wi-Fi. This was the fourth or fifth time my wife and I stayed at the hotel. We love it. This time, we went with our baby and booked a loft, which was perfect -- spotless and spacious. The staff prepared a lovely cot for him and were always helpful. We enjoyed the outdoor pool, spa facilities, and breakfast. For sure, we will be coming back.

Located along the shores of Uruguay's Rio de la Plata, Carmelo Resort & Spa features an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a gym and a restaurant in Carmelo. The hotel is more beautiful that it looks in the pictures. Things like the spa and restaurant are not represented in the online pictures of the resort - which is too bad. The pool area is also very nice.

Set in Colonia del Sacramento in the Colonia Region, Dazzler by Wyndham Colonia offers beachfront accommodation with a spa centre. Anchorena National Park is 20 km away. The room was spacious, with a great balcony and beautiful view. Breakfast was very good, and the staff extremely kind and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, and it’s ideal to relax and work.

Only 1 block from Colonia del Sacramento's historical district, this hotel offers panoramic bay views, a beautiful heated pool and a hot tub. We stayed for one night, the hotel is in the perfect location, easy access from the historic centre and a short 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal. It faces into the water and so we had beautiful views in the evening. The indoor pool was great (it was a bit cold the day we were there for swimming in the outdoor one). The indoor pool was lovely and had a large window facing over the water outside which could do with a clean, otherwise you'd have a great view! Unfortunately the hot tub/hydro therapy facility was not working the day we were there. The decor is a little dated, but everything in the room was clean and very comfortable. The shower had good pressure. The breakfast was outstanding, a great selection of meats, cheeses, cakes and pastries, scrambled eggs. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice facilities, the outside and inside pools are good size and very clean. Breakfast was amazing, very tasty with a huge variety of things to choose from. The play room was a plus for us.
