A last minute car booking was arranged within an hour. Food at the onsite restaurant was simple but very tasty. The breakfast was lovely, authentic Vietnamese. We drove past alot of backpacker style accommodation on the way in and this place wasn't like that! Would have loved to have tried the pool (the weather was too cold). Not only is it very beautiful and very good taken care (plants everywhere, common areas well maintained), but the staff is always smiling and nice. Breakfast was good with a variety of food for all tastes. The rooms are spacious and welcoming. We had dinner in the restaurant hotel and the price is as expected inside an hotel and the food is good.

Stunning location, felt relaxed the instant we arrived. Large spacious rooms, easy to get to all the activities we wanted to go to. The staff were so helpful, cannot recommend this place enough. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The area is popular for hiking and cycling, and car hire is available at Trang An Lamia Bungalow. Very good food, friendly people, very nicely decorated restaurant and surrounding - the center of the homestay. Very comfortable bed and a clean and nice shower outside which we enjoyed a lot hearing birds and nature sounds. Also staff helped in a birthday surprise, which was very nice.

Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. This might have been our favourite stay in Vietnam and we stayed 3 nights and were sad to leave. The bungalows are in such a great location. It is quiet and away from the busy street but only steps away if you want to be in the action. We easily walked to restaurants, coffee shops, spa/massage places, etc. We used the free bikes to bike to Mua Cave - if you follow google walk directions it is a little rough but a really cool bike ride. If not just follow driving directions and you stay on the roads vs dodging buffalo, chicken, goats and dogs! The breakfast offered is amazing. We had a group of 5 in 2 separate rooms. Each breakfast had 5 fruit, yogurt, toast and eggs, a Vetnamese pancake, and a drink. It was a lot of food and so good! Kept us full for hours. We used the pool at least twice each day. We traveled in Nov but it was still HOT so it was great to cool off and relax for a couple hours as a break from walking in the heat. We rented the scooters which was also a lot of fun. It was a quieter area to try them out and get comfortable before braving out into traffic. But you can also just walk or bike almost everywhere. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were great. Staff is always available to help in any way. You get a welcome drink every time you come back after a day out. And they also offer a foot bath in the evenings after a long day of walking. It comes with a delicious tea. Overall a great place to stay and I would highly recommend.

From the initial welcome to the final goodbye evening was perfect. Incredible value for money in a gorgeous individual maisonette. Centrally located yet so quiet in the evening.
