We enjoyed our stay at Drostdy hotel very much! the hotel is set up beautifully and just walking around was a pleasure. Breakfast and Dinner was fantastic, as well as the wine tasting which was also very personal and entertaining. I recommend Drostdy to anyone traveling to Graaff Reinet.

The property is in a beautiful location, isolated but not too hard to get to from the main road. Beautiful sea views in a tranquil area. I loved my stay here. There are trails to walk on the forest near the property and curious monkeys would show up in the morning to look at our chalet. Food in the restaurant was really good and I’ve also used the spa, which was amazing after a long flight. Staff were fantastic, so friendly and attentive. Wish I had time to stay longer and hope to come back one day. Book without thinking twice.

The place is extremely peaceful, beautiful and the staff was friendly. I liked their setup with everything. The food was nice also. It’s definitely a place to go for, I highly recommend it. ✌️

Viajamos un grupo de mas de 20 personas. Es como dormir en un museo del Karoo, la gente super agradable y muy recomendable cuando estas cruzando el pais. Tenemos mucha experiencia en viajes por Sudafrica, ya que organizamos vijaes por todo el Sur de africa y quien quiera tener una bonita experiencia, dormir en una casa colonial tradicional y disfrutar de la gastronomia, este es su sitio. El Intle Game Lodge se encuentra en Loerie, a 53 km de Port Elizabeth, y ofrece una piscina al aire libre de temporada y vistas al mar. Jeffreys Bay está situado a 27 km de la propiedad. This place is spectacular! I arrived as a solo traveler but I'm already planning to return with my husband and friends next time. The staff go above and beyond – from welcoming you with a drink to offering advice for a walk. The staff clearly like to make their guests happy and they were so fun to talk with! Dinner was exceptional; it was the best meal I had in South Africa. The menu has many courses and options to choose from. The kitchen accommodated by dietary restrictions without question – thank you! I highly recommend going for a late afternoon/dusk stroll and sunrise walk. It is safe; the animals keep a healthy distance. I saw impalas, blue wilderbeest, giraffes, and zebras on my walks. There is a great 5km roundtrip walk to a viewing platform on the back of the property - amazing views of the river and valley area at sunset. At sunrise, most of the animals were gathered on the front lawn. Other things you can do on the property: Take a dip in the infinity pool, sun bathe on the deck, request a drive of the property if you don't prefer to walk, read some books (they have many on wildlife and the history and culture of SA), sit by the fire, enjoy the cigar lounge, order a drink at the bar (it seems to have everything and you can ask for a drink anytime) and sit outside by the firepit. I wish I stayed for several more days to do it all!

I was travelling with my girlfriend to Kenton on the Sea for a little getaway and some more. Kenton on the sea is a little gem within Eastern Cape and if you stay at the House Quarter, I can guarantee that your travel experience will be perfect. The rooms are super clean, modern, lots of space, fresh scent and all the appliances that you need. Also the power back up was excellent with no break ups in electricity. The mega bonus I must say, the reception lady upgraded us to the largest room (suite). We did not need the additional room with two beds as we were only 2 guests but still, it was very nice to have so much space. The views are amazing too. I would definitely come again. A big plus is also the shopping options with Spar closeby as well as the SPA, in case weather is not great. Thanks again for the upgrade. After being 8 years with my girlfriend, I ve proposed at the beach that evening after check-in. So we will never forget the House Quarters and definitely have to come back where memories have been built.

The historic Royal St. Andrews Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre is located in Port Alfred. The bathroom was excellent. Great tub, and a very large bathroom.
