El Garden Route Game Lodge se encuentra cerca de Albertinia y ofrece vistas a la cordillera de Langeberg. This stay was unplanned and booked last minute. And we didn´t regret it! Tasty food, great wine and a lodge with a view over the game farm. The 2 game tours (evening and morning) ,included into the room rate, are fascinating. We saw all big 5, except leopard, but therefore Cheetahs on the hunt.

The spa treatments were exceptional – relaxing, professional, and truly rejuvenating. The restaurant provided delicious and beautifully presented meals, turning every dining experience into a highlight of our stay. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home and added a personal touch to the entire experience. Overall, our stay at Pezula was unforgettable. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and perfectly managed retreat.

Misty Mountain Reserve tiene piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza en Stormsrivier. Este alojamiento, que tiene servicio de habitaciones, también ofrece barbacoa. The cocoon, hive and dome rooms are out of is world! Unbelievable imagination and creative talent. No place like this. It was my fourth visit, and I will certainly be back. I can’t wait to stay in a dome room.

Old Post Office Lodge está en Wilderness y ofrece vistas a la ciudad, terraza, restaurante y bar. Se ofrece wifi gratis. Everything was perfect except for the couple outside in the road fighting at 2:30am through 3:30am😅

Gondwana Game Reserve, where Big Five game roams free through the Cape fynbos, is located 25 km from Mosselbay. We booked Gondwana to celebrate a special birthday with our daughter and her family. It couldn't have been more special;the location, the villa, the "clubhouse", the staff, the food, the ambiance. Everything was more than excellent but the icing on the cake definitely was having Tracy as our game-guide. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions, had a fun personality, was able to spot where specific animals might be and a very good driver on the challenging terrain after the rains.. In all one of the most amazing experiences of our lives, grateful that we could spend this time with our family at such an exquisite resort.

Situated between the Outeniqua Mountains and the beaches of the Indian Ocean, in Mossel Bay, Botlierskop Private Game offers elegant accommodation. What a wonderful stay — but far too short. During our trip along the Garden Route, we absolutely wanted to do a game drive, so we booked one night here. But take our advice: one night here is simply not enough. To fully experience this place, you actually need at least two, maybe even three nights. Anyway, for anyone looking for a true safari experience in the western part of South Africa, there’s only one thing to say: Botlierskop is absolutely the right choice. Of course, it’s not Kruger — but hey, you know that in advance, and this reserve is clearly very well managed, and sustainably too. As for the accommodation: absolutely fantastic. Extremely spacious tented lodges with every imaginable comfort — and what views! We stayed in one of the lower lodges overlooking a pond where rhinos and buffaloes came to drink, just a few meters below us — truly breathtaking. The 3.5-hour game drive at sunset was educational and perfectly guided by Mel. The fact that we didn’t see lions didn’t matter at all — the rhinos, hippos, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, wildebeests, giraffes and zebras more than made up for it. Finally, the staff were friendly and discreet — what more could you ask for? We’ll definitely be back, next time with our children. Thank you!
