Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is an authentic and contrasting natural space, conveniently located along Route 62, a mere 3.5 hours from Cape Town in the arid Little Karoo. The entire experience is 5 stars. The small lodges make it feel very personal and intimate. Our drives only had 5 people on a 9/10 passenger vehicle making it very comfortable. The food and drinks were great. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Surrounded by a rose garden, this 5-star hotel is situated en route to the Cango Caves and Ostrich Farms. It offers a wellness centre, well-equipped gym and a beauty clinic. We all enjoyed everything about Rosenhof. The attention to detail and attentiveness to guests is amazing. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Mooiplaas Guesthouse is a luxury guest house situated on a working ostrich farm, within 11 km of Oudtshoorn. Loved the big sparkly pool, loved the large Veranda and decor. The outside Bar was a bonus as we were served drinks from our sun-loungers. Eating breakfast out here was also divine. It gives you a Resort type feel. The bedrooms are extra spacious and tastefully decorated with solid / quality furniture. You feel like royalty staying at this premise. Especially the staff (Superman) make you feel like a million dollars with their exceptional service! Highly recommend this place and will most certainly return.

Zeekoe is located along the worlds longest R62 wine route and surrounded by the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountains. We absolutely loved our stay at De Zeekoe. It was our favourite accommodation on our south Africa trip. So much so we definitely should have stayed a second night. Our dinner at the property was great and the views were absolutely phenomenal. We added the meerkat sunrise tour to our stay and loved it. The hosts also helped us book our cango caves tour upon arrival.

Karoo Retreat- Self Catering Villas and Guest House offers self-catering accommodation located in Oudtshoorn, within the Klein Karoo. It offers a plunge pool. The staff is top-notch. Always helpful and willing. Tranquility is also very nice here. Pool was very nice and clean. Service was also the same as last, perfect. My second time here and I'm pretty sure it won't be my last time.

Located in Ladismith, in a valley amongst wine lands, Mymering Wine & Guest Estate has luxurious rooms some with a fireplace. The property features an outdoor pool and barbecue facilities. Excellent food and wine, serene setting, great birdwatching.
