Situated in Dinokeng Game Reserve in the Limpopo region and Dinokeng Game Reserve reachable within 21 km, Minara Private Boutique Game Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, an outdoor swimming pool and free private parking. We stayed in the 2 BR villa called the Farmhouse, in a fully enclosed and secure area populated by wandering wildebeest, springbok and other birds and animals. The unit was well-spaced from other units. It was well built of concrete, tastefully furnished and supplied with high quality sheets and towels. The kitchen was generously provisioned with a multi-function oven, gas oven, and plenty of crockery and cookware, towels and rubbish bags. There was an outside under-cover dining/lounge room with a brai and spa. There were 2 large bedrooms with lockable connecting door. Contact with our hosts was virtual, but they responded quickly and were helpful. There was plenty of opportunity to spot animals from the house and on walks in the neighbourhood.

The food (almost too much of it) the heated pool, the spa, the drinks on the deck, the game drives, the views, rooms are super clean and fresh towels whenever you need. There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

It’s beautiful, food is fantastic and lovely break away from the city when you don’t want to be bothered to self cater in Mabalingwe.

The restaurant serves traditional South African cuisine and a sparkling wine breakfast buffet. This was our second stay here. We brought my partner's mum and dad as we loved it so much. The staff were outstanding, the lodge is beautiful and we had an amazing time. The river cruise was the highlight. Special mention to Never and Noel who made sure we were cared for the whole stay. We will definitely be coming back.
