It was a special and peaceful retreat in a cabin surrounded by the forest. Both the reception area and the cabins were beautifully designed. The fireplace inside the cabin kept us very warm—so much so that at night, we even left the window slightly open while the fire was still going. It was conveniently close to the Visitor Centre and Devils @ Cradle. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, but I’d recommend bringing enough ingredients if you plan to cook your own meals.

Location is great. It's almost right opposite the visitor center. Kitchen has all things you want for preparing food even though we didn't use it. The bed is clean and tidy. Staff is nice and friendly.

Set in Moina, Tasmania region, Cradle Gateway Chalets is situated 33 km from Dove Lake.

Warm, cosy cabins located in a 20 minute drive from the Cradle mountain visitor centre. Good WiFi and a solid cafe. You get to see wallabies in the evening right out the large bedside window. Dwayne and Anita were fantastic and responsive hosts.

Set in Moina, 33 km from Dove Lake, Cradle forest inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities.
