I needed a room at short notice, boking on the day of arrival. The staff were able to accommodate my late check in by leaving the key in a key box - for which i was very grateful. I was also offered a reduced price for breakfast. About 10 mins walk from Hof Hbf.

Very friendly staff and some of them speak English. Great breakfast. My room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Great location! I would recommend it and I would stay in Hotel Strauss again.

I hand an unplanned overnight stay in Münchberg, due to a breakdown on my motorbike. The most pressing thing in such occasions is feeling that people have at least some sympathy. The staff at the Hotel Rossner were welcoming, understanding, and sympathetic from the start. They very kindly allowed me early entry to my room, which was appreciated and late departure, had I required the latter. Once repairs on my motorbike had been completed, they were happy for me to leave my luggage in the lobby wardrobe, from where I could easily retrieve it, once I had got my bike. They asked me if I had any clothes I needed drying on arrival and helped carry my luggage to my room. The room was large and pleasant, with an ensuite bathroom, desk, and TV. As others have stated, the decor may not be the latest, but it's all clean, functional, and there's no point in changing things for the sake of it. Above all, what matters is the human interaction between staff and guest and on that basis, I'd be more than happy to recommend the hotel to anyone.

Very good location, the owner and his wife are very kind! We parked the motorbikes in a parking space in front of the hotel, very safe and free of charge. The room and the bathroom are very clean! I recommend, I would stay there again!
