Chalet Helnes exceeded our expectations. Great location for summer and winter. Presented immaculately and exceptionally clean with all the modern facilities that anyone could require. The owner, Virginie was so lovely and welcomed us, giving lots of helpful information for our stay. I can highly recommend. Thanks again Virginie. 😊

The view and location was great. The staff was even more pleasant to deal with and very honest and trustworthy people. We enjoyed the breakfast as well (at the time was open from 7:30-9:30am) Truly appreciated the fact that they spoke a bit of English and communication was quick and easy even before we got to the hotel Something to be mindful of (for those not familiar with the culture) is that most places are closed in the afternoon between 11:30/noon to 2pm

We really liked it there. Beautiful views, clean air, amazing people working in the hotel. They upgraded our room to family for free because the cot for our baby didn’t fit in the room we booked. They also wrote a note for us with instructions for really late check-in - very thoughtful. Thank you!

We arrived quite late and the proprietor very kindly got us the last table for dinner seemingly in the whole town. There is no restaurant in the property itself (although they do a decent breakfast) - there is a very pleasant bar with a very friendly mountain dog. The room itself was very clean and the furnishings comfortable and appropriate to the price.
