We had a great time in the "House of fun". The owner Mark runs a public house that is open to everyone regardless of race, faith or gender. Mark, who calls himself the pole of the Black Lion, always keeps an eye on the needs and desires of his guests. The rooms are suitably furnished and thoroughly cleaned every day. Ideal location for tourists to visit the south west of London and to explore the local cuisine of Surbiton. We will come back- that's a promise, not a threat.

Our 3rd visit in 3 years and it continues to be excellent. It feels like home rather than a hotel. Staff are wonderful. You are made to feel so welcome. Location is perfect for rail trips into London or boat trips to Richmond or Hampton court, or just a short walk into Kingston over the river. Free secure parking and a great breakfast, what's not to like. Will we be back? Of course we will!

Convenient location, food court just next door. Good price, considering London and surroundings levels. Room was clean, bathroom just as well. I would've went for 7+ if I had the option.
