Great to see a grand old hotel still seeing use for it's original purpose, even as a more budget hotel. Ground floor and hallways are amazing, some of the rooms still have original features. Great location near the stations and city centre. Room was simple but comfortable.

Perfect budget hotel with a good location for exploring the city centre. Helpful staff, nicely cooked breakfast to order rather than a buffet and spotlessly clean with a lovely fresh smell around the corridors. The rooms were a little “compact and bijou” but all you need for a quick city break. Very fair parking terms so there was nothing not to like.
