We absolutely loved the Inn on the Tay, the location next to the river Tay is amazing, the room (we had a family room number 5) was very cosy and super clean and nicely decorated, which made us feel like home immediately. The beds were super for chilling and the bar and restaurant were charming and very 'gezellig '. We liked to take a drink and played some games with the family. The owners and personnel were all very sweet, relaxt and helpful. The walk along their river with the dogs was nice and challenging for the dogs by jumping over the rocks.

Everything was really lovely. And, we ended up leaving clothes in the closet that Sarah took charge of and mailed to a niece in London. She was very kind to stay in touch with me via email until we could figure out what to do. I so appreciate her attentiveness. The installations are lovely, location perfect, the restaurant delicious... we enjoyed the bar, too. Wish we had been there during a live music moment, but next time, I hope.

My wife and I stayed at the Dundarach Hotel in May and absolutely loved it. The hotel has the look and feel of a small castle - full of historic charm and atmosphere. It felt like stepping into a fairytale. Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was perfectly clean. We especially loved the large, elegant lounge area near the bar and dining room - filled with cozy armchairs and sofas, perfect for relaxing throughout the day or enjoying a whisky in the evening. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Behind the hotel is a large, beautifully kept garden with peaceful views of the surrounding greenery. Despite the quiet location, it’s just a short walk to the centre of Pitlochry, a charming town with great shops, restaurants and cafés. We also enjoyed a couple of scenic hikes starting right from the hotel. We had a fantastic stay and would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

The location is good. The hotel is in need of refurbishment, especially the rooms. We did get it for a good price so I suppose you get what you pay for. The staff are all lovely and the food was very good. Overall we had a good stay and it is a beautiful part of the country
