Three-Star Hotels in Bukit Lawang

This stay was an unbelievable experience! The location was great, because you are really in nature and the river is right next to it. We went on a 2-day trek and it was incredible to see an Orang-Utan mother and her baby! The guides were very funny and kind, I felt really comfortable. Another highlight was the BBQ we did together with live acoustic guitar music. Also we made the village tour where I learned how Tufo is made and the locals were all the friendliest people. The WIFI was working fantastically. It was the perfect get-away from the busy city life. I will definitely come again, thanks for everything.

Our stay at Hotel Orangutan and visit to Bukit Lawang was the highlight of our trip and one of my favorite places I have ever visited.  First, our trekking guides Amin and Holland were exceptional and our experience seeing the orangutans was magical.   Abdoullah, our driver was also excellent.  Easy to communicate with, an excellent driver, and a very pleasant, interesting man.   Staff at the Hotel Orangutan, including Vyca, were very pleasant, good fun, and helpful.  Everything was very well organized.   Anastasia, who helped organize our trip was excellent- considering our flights, dates and plans changed 3 times!  Bukit Lawang is so charming.  We had great food, many monkeys, and music in resturants every night.  The people were so nice.  I cannot recommend a trip to Bukit Lawang and Hotel Orangutan enough.

You are looking for the perfect start to your jungle tracking adventure...book Fido Dido. Staff is friendly, welcoming and the place is increadible. We overlooked the river, relaxing in the hamock while the monkeys played in the trees. Breakfast is also great to be full of energy for your trip in the Jungle. We had the chance to experience the Jungle and his natural beauty with our great singing guide Imbon known as Bukit Lawangs rockstar 😉 together with Judi the best jungle chef and Aza as great support.
