I had a great stay at this hostel! The room was clean, and it definitely offered great value for money. I felt safe throughout my stay, which was really important to me as a solo traveler. The team was incredibly helpful and arranged a desert safari for me, which was an unforgettable experience! The cost for the safari was also very reasonable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay with great activities!

Most acceptable was the staff. I just got food poisioning and could not function. They came cleaned a room at 10:00 am let me go into the room, brought me water, medicined toast etc. I slept for 21 hours. Came out the next day still a little under the weather checked the place out was very nice roof view. Clean room etc.

Everything…. when we arrived at the train Station, the extensive works made the whole area a dusty mess and this extends out into the streets. The approach to the area of Jasmin is the same and we were thinking omg this is going to be tough ( we are well travelled in India ) but … The Jasmin is lovely …the staff waited up until 02:30am for us and showed us straight to beautifully decorated room with the all the lovely lighting set up and the room had been heated perfectly…they didn’t even ask us to check in …..just relax and have a good sleep. In the morning was no different, very relaxed check-in and breakfast was attentive and a perfect choice ( don’t be afraid to go room only and have a la carte breakfast its a good choice and very cheap, our total food bil for three breakfasts and one dinner and one lunch ( for two people ) was £34 The owner is very attentive and proud using family and friends for staff, also recommends a guide for the town heritage walk and he organises desert safari’s ( it’s not usually our thing but we did both and thoroughly enjoyed it. I get the comment someone made re bird droppings upstairs on the terrace but ignore this, it doesn’t spoil anything. If you’re on a budget don’t shy from the basic room, we had that without realising it was his cheapest room and it’s really nice. We looked at the others and all well priced and individual.

We arrived at 4.30 in the morning by train. the hotel had organised a driver and check in at that time. as our room was not yet free, they upgraded us fee of charge so we could have a room right away. other than that, the bed was by far the most comfortable one we used throughout our whole trip! the staff, especially Samir, were very kind and attentive. And to top it all off, the hotel is really beautiful in a quiet location, but an easily walkable distance from the fort.

The hostel is a relaxing and charming place with a great location. Khan, his brother, and the staff made my stay memorable! I highly recommend the desert safari with them—Khan will take you on an off-the-beaten-path journey, offering a real and amazing experience! The room condition is good, the blanket is soft, and the hot water comes out well! If you have any problems, fortiya or friendly staff who speak Korean well will quickly solve them. I met a lot of nice people here. I hope Hotel fortiya goes well and lasts for a long time. I want to come back later!

We loved our stay at the Secret House! It is a beautifully decorated haveli and Naru, the owner welcomed us with a beautiful flower threaded necklace. As we were going on a desert safari the next day, he kindly agreed to let us leave our main bags at the haveli, to collect on our return. His other staff members were fantastic as well, with one of them waking up especially early on the morning of the camel safari to help us get ready. All in all their warmth and kindness cannot be faulted.

    We booked the budget double room for two nights and loved it! It's the best value for money and we would have paid twice as much for this cosy room. It was very clean and the bed was very big and comfortable. The location is a bit out of the main fort area, which we really liked. It's quieter and the bus station is only a few minutes away :) They also arrange desert safaris with "Arbina Desert Safari" which we really enjoyed! You should definitely do this if you are in Jaisalmer 😍

    The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were super helpful and friendly. They gave free train station drop off and organized airport pick up (for a good price) We also booked the safari through them which was amazing. They let us use the showers when we came back too even though we had checked out. The rooftop is lovely. The location is super central - about 10 mins walk to the fort.

    Really nice place to stay, with beautiful ornate stone carvings in the rooms. Staff were super friendly and helpful, they let us in when our train arrived late, helped with bags etc constantly and even let us keep our bags and use a room for a couple of hours after we had checked out. Great customer service and a good location to stay in Jaisalmer at a good price.

    Owner and staff are so kind and even arranged transports in the middle of the night. Roof top is a relaxing location with lots of wall sockets, which make online working easy. The Guesthouse is located in a quiet area, but Jaisalmer Fort is in walkable distance. (or you just watch it from the Roof top) During our stay we had the opportunity to join a desert safari off the beaten path for a very good price. And we got lots of delicious Chai for free.
