GermanyWe absolutely adored our stay at The Eco Lodge during December — it has truly been the highlight of our 3-week journey through India so far. After arriving in Delhi, the eco-lodge was a peaceful, welcoming retreat. What made our time here so unforgettable was not just the charm of the lodge itself, but the warmth and hospitality of the family who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
The home-cooked meals, prepared by Gayatri , were beyond words — each dish a masterpiece, rich with flavour and love- the best Indian food we have ever tried. The beauty of the lodge and its vibrant bougainvillea, was the perfect setting to unwind.
One of the most inspiring parts of our stay was seeing how the extended family lives in such harmony with the land and with each other. Their deep respect for nature and sustainable living left a lasting impression on us. We also enjoyed learning to prepare traditional Rajasthani dishes, which added an extra layer of connection to the culture and community.
From the homemade chai to the rejuvenating lemon and ginger teas, everything made with love. The organic vegetables were delicious, and the sense of peace and care that permeated every part of the lodge made it impossible not to feel a sense of calm.
