Amasing place with gentle owners, nice and cute japanese vintage style, bright rooms with yukatas, beautiful onsen space with clear hot water, near the nature with excellent connection with City Center by bus or walking, big 7/11 convenient store near. The room is cozy and the onsen is very nice. Most importantly, all staff were helpful especially when I lost my car key. They arranged a car to pick me back and on the next day, took me to find it. Luckily, it was found and I was so blessed to choose this ryokan. Highly recommended!

This hotel has the best location , walkable from echigo station, and close proximity to many restaurants and nearby ski slopes. Hotel breakfast was good , wide spread. We tried their dinner buffet, it was very good too though little over priced. The best part was the onsen, loved the outdoor onsen in the snow, wasn’t too crowded. Morning was empty.

Amazing value for the price. The onsen was big, had an outdoor onsen ("Rotenburo"), and was typically very quiet; you can have the whole place to yourself. I was working remotely/teleworking in the early morning, and the internet was surprisingly VERY fast. Lawson across the street and 2 diners/izakaya nearby with much cheaper prices than downtown. Frequent hotel buses to nearby results make it easy to stay here and get to nearby ski resorts and downtown Yuzawa without a car. Only downside, the bus service and pick up end a little early at 6pm. They offer lottery-based tickets for Kandatsu and Park Ski resorts for half price, which was fun and cheap!
