There are no words to describe the hospitality and kindness, we were welcomed like part of the family. We felt like Chami Villa was second home, it was our first accomodation in Sri Lanka and we miss it already. As I told you, I would give you a 100, but I can only give you a 10. The property is beautiful, rooms are large, very clean with good air-conditioning. Breakfast was abundant and so tastefull. We were 4, 2 adults and 2 children and the triple room had more than enough space for us, the big bed was large enough for 3 to sleep in. When my daughter fell and got wound on her legs, he brought us a cream to help heel it. When we went to the beach, they made sure we had everything we needed. Last but not least, Maya the dog was so charming and our children did not want to leave Chami the last they because of her and they keep mentioning her all the time.

SELAVI is an oasis of calm and quietness. It has a beautiful garden and overlooks the Bentota river. The food is exeptional & come with large portions. The staff are friendly and drop us off on the beach in the morning for free. We only payed a few hundred rupees to get back in the evening. We really loved our stay and will be back next year with friends. :-)

It was a wonderful vacation! We stayed in this wonderful place in September. Henry, the landlord, made our vacation more than 50% better. We had a variety of local breakfasts, as well as our usual omelets and fried eggs, fresh fruit every day, and yogurt (we even agreed with Henry to buy Kourda on one of the days). We never ate dinner anywhere else but at his place (believe me, we tried it, but it was tastier at our villa). Thanks to the fact that we got together, we got discounts on our dinners, and we saved a lot of money. We weren't forced to use any unnecessary services, which is quite rare in Sri Lanka. The villa's grounds are diverse, with various animals such as peacocks, parrots, mongooses, and flying dogs. At night, the stars and fireflies appear as if in a cartoon. I also celebrated my birthday here, with a festive dinner featuring barbecue, a cake, music, and karaoke. I also tried lobster for the first time. The people who work there are extremely friendly and kind. It feels like we're all a big family. - Here's a brief overview of what I found most important: The area is large and green, with easy access to the road and tuk-tuk rides to the city center or the beach. There's no noise from the road, and no renovations or other annoying sounds. Everything is clean. The rooms are cleaned approximately once every three days, sometimes more frequently. They provide towels, bed linen, a hairdryer, and Wi-Fi. But we bought sim cards at the airport, sometimes the wifi didn't work well, but that's the case everywhere. It's better to bring your own shower gel and shampoo or buy them at the supermarket. There's a kitchen and cutlery. There's clean drinking water in the cooler. There's a mosquito repellent and coils. They'll help you with any issues. The service is excellent. The only minor drawback is the limited storage space. You can also get massages, but we didn't try it.

The experience exceeded our expectations, especially with the rooms size, quiet location, and awesome attitude from each and every staff personel starting with Suresh - the manager. Being a family with two little kids, we were not so sure about the rooms, so we booked two of them, although we could have perfectly fit also in one; however we did not regret it - the rooms at each floor have a passage between them so we had a great little kingdom there for us for 11 days. Any raised issues during our stay have been fixed immediately. We were helped with laundry and various trips for better than usual rates there - a big thank you for this! Cleaning was done at request - in our case almost every second day. Beach is 2-4 minutes away - beautiful and long one. The food and restaurant were amazing. You can try many different places around there and you will understand why, while a bit more expensive than others, you will not find a better seafood in Bentora and the region. We were also offered a 10% discount for our lunches and dinners there. Tips for future clients - if you need something there, just ask.

Biggest plus of place is owner who is really helpful. Rooms are newly built and clean, bf and dinner were arranged on sea side which was very nice. Boat ride and water activity is nearby we can easily take a tuk and reach. Food was nice.
