Amazing historical building with a lovely authentic feel to it. So clean and comfortable, with great host Rema. Perfect place to have a short rest before hiking Adams Peak ! Room was clean and spacious. Even got warm water that was appreciated after the hike. Breakfast served was great and hosts really welcoming.

This was the perfect place to stay one could ask for. Started from the moment we reached the property. Claude and Chaminda were phenomenal in service. We started calling Claude as uncle after a few minutes due to his mild mannered and helpful nature and Chaminda is an exceptional cook. Uncle Claude was there with us for every need. Advising on what to eat and where to go. Overall a stay to remember and made us think about extending our stay but they had a booking already so we had to leave.

The room had a great view, very comfy bed and it was pretty clean. Plus, I could enjoy some amazing scenery from the windows and the terrace. The family was lovely, too and they spoke decent English. This is actually a perfect place to stay if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya. The Train View is in Nanu Oya, right at the train station (but don't worry, Nanu Oya is a small and sweet place so it's too noisy there or something) and Nanu Oya is about 20 mins from Nuwara Eliya (you can take the local bus and the bus ride is really scenic). I also liked that there were plenty of local restaurants around.
