The wood cottage are comfortable and clean and also we had a very nice view at the beautiful lake. It was the best service during our whole stay in Sri Lanka. Very friendly owner and a great hospitality.the surrounding is nice and quiet, there are chairs and a table in front of the bungalow, it's perfect for a cup of tea after a safari. We also had breakfast and dinner here, which was very good. there are peacocks all over the place and other bird life to be seen too. They also organized our trip to Yala National Park, We had a driver that really knew his stuff and had the most amazing eyesight. We saw a leopard up close, a tusker elephant, more elephants bathing, and crocodiles, lizards, birds etc. I am really recommend better to organized Yala Safari with them. Because there have so many fake safari organizations.

This was such an amazing experience. The we had a lovely dinner at the campfire, a good night in the tent (clean tent) and an amazing morning Safari with a unforgettable view at breakfast. Avkina and all the staff where lovely, great hospitality. Avkina guided us with the night walk and the morning Safari. Higly recommend to accompany a guide with the Safari. We spotted many animals including Leopards and an Elephant.

Perfect place to explore yala national park, the organised half day safari was amazing. The staff is very friendly, breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious and the room with balcony was very clean and comfortable.

From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming staff at Happiness Villa Yala made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable stay. One of the highlights was the incredible Yala safari they organized for us – it was an amazing adventure! The safari was expertly guided by Nissanka, a highly experienced driver who knew all the best spots. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to spot a leopard in the wild, which was the cherry on top of an already incredible experience. The villa also treated us to some of the best traditional Sri Lankan foods we’ve ever had – delicious and authentic. As if that wasn’t enough, they even offered us a free lake tour, which was a peaceful and scenic way to take in the beauty of the surroundings. If you're planning a trip to Yala, I highly recommend staying at Happiness Villa. The combination of friendly service, incredible food, and unforgettable safari experiences is hard to beat!

The place was absolutely amazing! We had a big, brand-new room with a queen bed and AC – but designed in a style you can only dream of when imagining a stay inside a national park. You can truly immerse yourself in nature, sit on a porch or a terrace up in the trees, and simply observe the wildlife around you. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a safari.
