The interior of the hotel, the pool with a large garden bordering with jungle. We enjoyed Bayou the best of all the hotels we stayed at in Malaysia. Breakfasts were great too. It was lovely to sit outside and watch the monkeys climb the tree and cable to cross the street to the next building. The staff were exceptional, very helpful and always smiling big smiles. I will surely go back to this place !

A Perfect 6-Day Retreat at Temple Tree – Heritage, Serenity, and Warm Hospitality We spent six unforgettable days at Temple Tree Resort in Langkawi, and it was truly one of the most remarkable stays we’ve ever had. The resort’s collection of beautifully restored heritage houses transported us back in time, offering a unique blend of charm and character while still providing all the modern comforts we needed. Each house tells its own story, making the experience all the more special. The lush gardens surrounding the property created a serene and peaceful environment, perfect for relaxation. The pool area was another highlight for us—especially the pool shaded by the iconic tree from which the resort takes its name. We spent hours lounging by the water, soaking in the tranquility of the surroundings. The food at Temple Tree was absolutely delicious. Every meal at the on-site Paloh Restaurant & Bar was a treat, with flavors that perfectly captured the essence of Malaysian cuisine. From the moment we arrived, we were met with genuine warmth and kindness. I like everything about this place. The rooms are big and very claen. The swimming pool is really good. The location is close enough to the beach and restaurants. Only 10 to 15 minutes walk. People are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also good but you do not have many options. I will stay there again and highly recommend it.

The property is excellent! We really loved the time we spent there. It's spacious, well equipped, comfortable, clean and with a very polite, nice and helpful staff. Nearby restaurant provides tasty breakfast, as well as good selection of beverages and food from their menu. Private pool is perfect. It's clean, spacious, and with a nice shallow part for children. Also, just behind the fence in the back of the villa garden there is a small river, where you can watch local crocodiles, iguanas and a plenty of different birds. Which is awesome. Distance to major Langkawi locations is short. All is close enough - the airport, the port, the Sky bridge, Sea world, some beaches, shopping options, evening food markets...but all is reachable by car only.

I recommend this place to everybody! Hotel menager is a wonderful person that helped us a lot with car rental, recommended restaurants and offered us a ferry cruise to Thailand. Swimming pool was perfect for playing, our rooms were always clean. Object has special summer vibe which we loved.

It’s a truly beautiful resort. Everywhere you look there is greenery and palm trees, creating a genuine tropical atmosphere. The pool is long and clean, and it’s only a few meters from the beach. The room is just the right size and the beds are very comfortable. Daily housekeeping was excellent, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. Every day we received fresh water, clean towels, and a nice selection of coffee and tea.
