The breakfast was terrific, choice of American style, continental style, Norwegian style or everything altogether. There was so much food and eye appeal that it was almost impossible not to overeat, (so I did not try). Our room overlooked the harbor and a sculpture of a glacier that changed position with tide. The most important thing was the location. Located almost in the Oslo main train station, it was a short walk to one's room. There was a number of local busses, and tram lines that were equally accessible. If one is using an Oslo pass, this is the place to stay.

I liked everything. Good location, nice staff, comfortable and clean room. Very calm in the night, which was very important for me, for good sleep. And the best of all, it is breakfast. Such a breakfast I never had in any hotel in Europe. Thank you, hotel Anker, I hope we will see again.
