A beautiful property in a calm and safe area of Johannesburg. An area full of bars and restaurants (7th street) is just a short walk away. The owners were lovely and kindly let us leave our suitcases on the property while we explored Johannesburg. The breakfast was delicious!

Check-in was very efficient, the property is impressive upon entry, and the room was cozy and very clean (with heat and AC). Morningside was a great choice that we'll return to whenever in Jozi. The breakfast was fantastic--a good array of choices, and the kitchen/dining area is equally nice. The staff is very helpful, and thanks especially to Franz who assisted with our luggage and heated our dinner (food we bought on the way to the hotel) and brought it to our room. Excellent guest service! The location is great, too--just 25 minutes drive from the airport--and we felt very safe on the property and in the community.
