Opened in 2015, Das Franzl - Bett & Brot is 800 metres from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, where guests can use a lake access with a sunbathing lawn. The hosts are very friendly. We feel very much welcomed. The room is clean with big bathroom. Decoration of the room is very creative. Balcony with view. Good breakfast. My child enjoyed the stay so much that he asked for stay in the same place for next family trip.

Everything was just fine - nice clean room, great breakfast and dinner, just 10-15 mins walk to the very center of the town. The fitness room is great - I was able to do my regular fitness exercises as usual. And the swimming pool is amazing - quite long for such a small hotel. Next time in Gmunden will defined stay here again

In the summer there are many insects, but one of the windows had an insect screen so we could still enjoy the breeze without getting bitten - this is the kind of attention to detail you can expect from this place! Extremely affordable for such a lovely apartment. Access to bus 150 (direct to Salzburg/ Bad Ischl) from the main road is convenient. As this property is located within Salzburg province, we had the guest mobility ticket for free public transport within Salzburg.
