Set directly on the riverbank of the Danube, the family-run Gasthof Haselberger offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The restaurant serves home-made cuisine and local wine. Lovely family, lovely hotel. Excellent food and the location couldn't have been any closer to the Danube cycle path. Breakfast was incredible, bikes had secure storage. Perfect place to stop and great accommodations for our group of 8 cyclists.

Lovely location in the middle of the vineyards. Spacious and comfortable studio with a great bed as well as pleasant bed linen. The communication with Eszter was absolutely great, really kind and pro-client approach. There is a pool in the garden to cool down after a day of Wachau exploration. Last but not least - the breakfast concept - “spoiling pure” - one can hardly imagine a better start of a vacation day.

Schlossgasthof welcomes guests directly below Artstetten Castle in Lower Austria’s Waldviertel region. What a wonderful find. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with the warm Austrian hospitality. I was given a lovely, spacious room with balcony and even considered extending my stay because I was so comfortable, but was only staying for one night. The breakfast is fantastic, no buffet but everything read on the table, with the exception of butter that was brought when I sat down so it would be fresh, and the hot drinks I cannot fault the property or the owners in any way and will happily return on a future occasion Food and drink are excellent and the property is not overpriced either
