Just a 7-minute drive from Mackay town center, Tropic Coast Motel offers free WiFi, an outdoor, saltwater swimming pool, playground and truck/trailer parking. My husband was a health emergency disembarkation from our cruise. We are from the USA. He was transferred to Mackay Base Hospital. I chose this accommodation for its proximity to the hospital. What I found was a spacious room as described. The bonus was the very comfortable bed, and the support of friendly, helpful staff. Plus, the on-site laundry has excellent machines.
