I LOVED this hostel, the beach was great without any waves, not a lot of people, very calm water. The breakfast was delish, the food and drinks sold at the bar were very good, a bit pricey but not too bad. I will stay here everytime I visit Santa Marta. Do keep in mind that it's like 15/20 min drive to the center of Santa Marta, but taxis are cheap.

El Mincaecohabs Hotel Hotel, situado en las colinas de las afueras de Santa Marta, ofrece bonitos jardines tropicales por lo que se puede pasear. Ofrece WiFi gratuita y desayuno gratuito. EXCELENTE. Todo es maravilloso en este hotel, ideal para descansar, estar en contacto con la naturaleza. Instalaciones maravillosas, el paisaje, la atención, su restaurante en el mirador. El balcon y la hamaca fueron lo máximo, de alli no me quería levantar jeje. La ubicación cerca al pueblo también lo hace una gran opcion.

Promisedland Tayrona Cabins Hotel dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y zona de barbacoa en Buritaca. We liked everything about the property and the staff who were there when you needed them and were nowhere to be seen when you didn’t need them. The accommodation itself was fantastic. We had the cabin with the sea view. It was a little bit of a trek to get there up a steep climb but well worth it. The accommodation had hot and cold water, air-conditioning and electricity with a small microwave inside and coffee making facilities With complimentary coffee of course. the place was immaculately clean and the staff were always on the hand and extremely helpful during our stay I had my birthday there and the staff laid on a special surprise for me around the swimming pool area and then they all sang happy birthday to me All in all. It’s a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to anybody. It’s perhaps not suitable to stay in the top cabin for people with disabilities as although it has a concrete path almost all the way to the top, the last bit would be a struggle for people with disabilities . However down in the main area where the dining room, kitchens and reception are the accommodation is perfect for anybody with disabilities. in our group we had one person with a wheelchair who stayed main accommodation area making it easy for him to get to the dining area. The area itself is situated just off of the main coastal road and is within easy access to lots of various beaches along the coastal road all within very easy reach of public transport which will stop outside the entrance to promisedland making day trips out to the beaches very easy

Hotel Hukumeizi Minca se encuentra en Minca, a 35 km de Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. A truly extraordinary experience. Writing a glowing review feels almost like betraying a secret. Part of this place’s magic lies in its quiet, under-the-radar charm. But some experiences are too special not to share. It’s no small feat getting here. Halfway along the dusty back road that leads in, you either have to cross a river by 4x4 or venture on foot across a rickety wooden bridge. Not quite as prepared as we should have been, we enlisted the help of some friendly locals to reach the final stretch. The crossing felt like a quiet test, almost a spiritual gateway, as if the river were deciding whether you were worthy of entering the magical realm beyond. It felt like something out of Lord of the Rings. On the way back, crossing that same river felt like the end of a great adventure and a reluctant return to reality. Bittersweet. We swam in the river, unplugged from the noise of modern life, and rediscovered the joy of life's bare essentials — things we’ve largely forgotten in an age of constant distraction. My partner had the chance to share a meaningful moment with members of the Indigenous community, which added a profound layer to her experience, as a Colombiana. For me, the highlight was the intimate dinners: shared meals in a communal space with fascinating people from around the world. Jorge, the host, is nothing short of exceptional. The dishes he and his small team prepared, using inventive techniques and local ingredients, weren’t just among the best I’ve had in Colombia but among the best I’ve had anywhere. If Jorge ever set his sights on opening a restaurant in the UK, I’ve no doubt it would be a huge success. But selfishly, I hope he doesn’t, because what he’s created here is something far rarer and far more magical.

OASIS TROPICAL HOTEL se encuentra en Santa Marta, a pocos pasos de Playa Bello Horizonte, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y restaurante. Clean, good location to the airport and restaurants. We only stayed a night before a flight so didn’t check out the beaches locally but the location is great and staff are very helpful.

I think everything was perfect, the staff was so generous, the breakfast was delicious, the location is spectacular, near from the beach, the cathedral and the restaurants. The bed was really comfortable and the temperature was something else.
